Symptoms

Most common symptom is SAN freezing. You will definitely notice if that happens 🙂

Rare symptoms are:

  1. Storage performance degradation (XXXXms) messages in StarWind and Windows Application logs.
  2. Storage becomes unreachable due to freezes and performance degradation.
  3. Synchronization might get lopped (more information about that can be found here: http://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware.com/explanation/synchronization-process-is-looped/

Solution

Enable Jumbo Frames of switch and check that it is enabled on all network interfaces that are presented to StarWind.
