Changing the Heartbeat or Synchronization Channel IPs

  • Troubleshooting
  • April 30, 2015

Steps

Click on the corresponding device in the StarWind management console. In the right side window find Replication Node Interface (for version 8 and above) and click on it. In the window that will appear you can edit heartbeat and synchronization channels settings on the fly.

Please make sure that you are changing only one interface at a time to avoid split brain issue when synchronization channel is interrupted without heartbeat enabled.
